Investigation of license applicant by director

(1) Upon filing of an application for a license as provided in this subchapter, the Director of the Division of Labor shall cause an investigation to be made regarding the character, business integrity, and financial responsibility of the license applicant.

(2) The director shall also determine the suitability or unsuitability of the applicant's proposed office location.

(3) An application for an employment agency's, agency manager's, or employment counselor's license shall be rejected by the director if it is found that any person named in the license application is not of good moral character, business integrity, or financial responsibility or if there is good and sufficient reason within the meaning and purpose of this subchapter for rejecting the application.
