(1) For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1987, the Workers' Compensation Commission shall allocate one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to a special project for the following purposes: Identification of industries or jobs having a high incidence of injuries;

(2) Determination of the causes of injuries of which there is a high incidence; and

(3) The provision of educational or advisory services to employers and employees designed to reduce the incidence of such injuries.

(4) It is the intent of this section to provide information and other services to employers and employees that will improve workplace safety in the State of Arkansas.

(5) For succeeding fiscal years, the commission shall determine to what extent the project should be funded.
