Cooperative agreements

Known as the Child Maltreatment Act

(1) The Department of Human Services and the Division of Arkansas State Police shall implement a coordinated multidisciplinary team approach to intervention in reports involving severe maltreatment and all reports requested by a prosecuting attorney pertaining to a law enforcement or prosecuting attorney's investigation by initiating formal cooperative agreements with: Law enforcement agencies;

(2) Prosecuting attorneys; and

(3) Other appropriate agencies and individuals.

(4) The Secretary of the Department of Human Services may enter into cooperative agreements with other states to create a national child maltreatment registration system.
