Publication of order — Contest

(1) Within seven (7) days from the making of the order mentioned in § 14-386-115, the county clerk shall publish a copy of it in some newspaper published in the county one (1) time if a newspaper is published in the county; and if not, then by posting the copy at the courthouse door, and by posting not less than ten (10) copies of it in the district.

(2) Anyone who may feel aggrieved by the order may object to the assessment.

(3) A person shall commence legal proceedings for the purpose of trying the validity of the assessment within twenty (20) days after the date of publication, or else he shall be forever barred in all courts of law or equity from questioning the validity of the assessment and the lien created by it.
