Ark. Code Ann. § 14-387-303

Result of election

Acts 1947, No. 368, § 3; A.S.A. 1947, § 78-1403.

If a majority of the legal voters voting for and against the provisions of this subchapter at the election, whether general or special, shall vote to restrain the running at large of the animals named in the petition, the clerk of the county court shall:

(1) Enter on the record the result of the election;

(2) File the papers and terms of it in his or her office; and

(3) Immediately give notice of the result by publication in some newspaper published in the county and by causing notices to be posted in three (3) public places in each township affected by the election.

(4) If the vote shall be against restraining, publication and notice will not be required.
