Verification of complaint — Issuance and service of summons

(1) The complaint required by § 15-32-303 shall be sworn to by the county timber inspector or any credible witness.

(2) On the filing of the complaint, the clerk of the court shall issue a summons against the persons so named in the complaint as defendants commanding them to appear as in other actions at law before the court and show cause why the property mentioned in the complaint shall not be adjudged to be the property of the State of Arkansas.

(3) The summons shall be served in the same manner as a summons in any other cause, and the trial of the cause shall proceed in all respects as the trial of other civil actions.
