(1) The State Board of Barber Examiners shall by rule establish reasonable registration fees, renewal fees, examination fees, and such other fees as it deems necessary and appropriate to fulfill its duties.

(2) Funds thus realized shall be expended for: The payment of the salary of the Director of the State Board of Barber Examiners;

(3) Expenses and stipends in accordance with § 25-16-901 et seq.;

(4) Salary of registered barber inspectors and stenographers;

(5) Retainer fees for attorneys;

(6) Publication of this chapter;

(7) Investigation of violations of this chapter; and

(8) Such other purposes as may be directed by the board.
