Meeting — Notice

Known as the Registration of Geologists Act

The act spans §§ 17-32-101 to 17-32-314 (28 sections).

(1) The State Board of Registration for Professional Geologists shall hold a meeting within thirty (30) days after appointment and thereafter shall hold at least two (2) regular meetings each year.

(2) An affirmative vote of a majority of a quorum present shall be necessary to transact business.

(3) The Chair of the State Board of Registration for Professional Geologists shall not vote unless there is a tie vote among the board members, in which case his or her vote will be allowed for a majority.

(4) Rules adopted by the board may provide for such additional regular meetings as necessary and for special meetings.

(5) Notice of all meetings shall be given as may be provided in the rules.
