License — Application and issuance

Known as the Arkansas Water Well Construction Act

(1) The Commission on Water Well Construction may adopt, and from time to time amend or repeal, rules governing applications for water well contractor licenses.

(2) The commission shall license as a water well contractor any person properly making application on a form prepared and furnished by the commission.

(3) Any person whose application for a license to engage in business as a water well contractor has been denied may request, and shall be granted, a hearing in the county where the complainant has his or her place of business before an appropriate officer of the commission.

(4) No application for a license issued pursuant to § 17-50-304 may be made within one (1) year after revocation thereof.
