Organization and proceedings

(1) Immediately after the appointment and qualification of the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy, the members shall meet and organize as the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy, by electing from their own number a president and secretary.

(2) The board shall hold not fewer than two (2) regular meetings per annum for the examination of candidates.

(3) One (1) meeting may be held at the time and place of the annual meeting of the Arkansas Pharmacists Association. The other meeting shall be held at a time and place as the board may determine.

(4) Other meetings of the board may also be held whenever and wherever a quorum of the board, including the Secretary of the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy, is present.

(5) A majority of the board shall be a quorum for the transaction of any business.

(6) The board may adopt such bylaws as it deems necessary to carry into execution the provisions of this act without expense to the state.
