Ark. Code Ann. § 17-95-308

Waiver

Acts 2005, No. 1249, § 1.

(1) The requirements of § 17-95-307 may be waived by the Arkansas State Medical Board upon the request of: An affected applicant for licensure; or

(2) The person holding the license subject to revocation.

(3) The board may consider the following circumstances when considering a waiver, including, but not limited to: The age at which the crime was committed;

(4) The circumstances surrounding the crime;

(5) The length of time since the crime;

(6) Subsequent work history;

(7) Employment references;

(8) Character references; and

(9) Other evidence demonstrating that the applicant does not pose a threat to the health or safety to the public.
