(1) Neither the judgment to be rendered by the court in matters brought pursuant to the provisions of this subchapter nor anything in this subchapter shall bar or preclude the party injured from bringing any cause of action for trespass or ejectment, or any other action, against the offending party.

(2) All claims, causes of action, and actions which have accrued, occurred, or been filed prior to March 23, 1981, and arising under acts repealed shall be, and remain, in full force and effect, but shall be governed by the terms of this subchapter.
