Ark. Code Ann. § 20-14-202

Creation — Members

(1) There is created a commission to be known as the “Governor's Commission on People with Disabilities” composed of eleven (11) members appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the Senate.

(2) Six (6) of the members shall be persons with disabilities.

(3) Membership terms shall be four (4) years.

(4) Vacancies shall be filled for the remainder of the term of the original appointment by the Governor.

(5) Members shall receive no compensation for serving on the commission.

(6) The vacancies shall be filled in the manner prescribed by law.

(7) The commission shall be nonpartisan, nonprofit, and shall not engage in the dissemination of partisan principles.
