Excluded services

Acts 2017, No. 775, § 1.

(1) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, all healthcare services delivered through the Medicaid provider-led organized care system shall: Be available for all members of covered Medicaid beneficiary populations; and

(2) Be comparable in amount, duration, or scope as compared to other Medicaid-eligible individuals as specified in the state plan for medical assistance.

(3) The Medicaid provider-led organized care system shall be implemented to the extent possible, but shall not include the following services when provided to enrollable Medicaid beneficiary populations: Nonemergency medical transportation in a capitated program;

(4) Dental benefits in a capitated program;

(5) School-based services provided by school employees;

(6) Skilled nursing facility services;

(7) Assisted living facility services;

(8) Human development center services; or

(9) Waiver services provided to adults with physical disabilities through the ARChoices in Homecare program or the Arkansas IndependentChoices program.
