Ark. Code Ann. § 23-80-405

Enrollment

Acts 2001, No. 1409, § 5.

(1) Upon enrollment of a covered person, a health benefit plan shall issue a uniform prescription drug information card or other technology in accordance with the requirements of § 23-80-404.

(2) Upon any change in a covered person's coverage that impacts in content or format any information contained on a uniform prescription drug information card or other technology, a health benefit plan shall issue new uniform prescription drug information cards or other technology to all covered persons in accordance with the requirements of § 23-80-404.

(3) A newly issued uniform prescription drug information card or other technology shall be updated with the latest coverage information and shall conform to the standards of the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs then in effect, and to the implementation guide then in use, or a national format established in an administrative rule by the Insurance Commissioner.

(4) However, a health benefit plan may issue stickers to covered persons to update cards as may be established in an administrative rule by the commissioner.
