Acceleration of death benefit

Acts 2005, No. 1697, § 31.

(1) Any time a long-term care benefit funded through a life insurance vehicle by the acceleration of the death benefit is in benefit payment status, a monthly report shall be provided to the policyholder.

(2) The report shall include: Any long-term care benefits paid out during the month;

(3) An explanation of any changes in the policy, including, but not limited to, death benefits or cash values, due to the payment of long-term care benefits; and

(4) The remaining amount of long-term care benefits.
