Ark. Code Ann. § 25-16-1102

Definitions

As used in this subchapter:

(1) “Governmental body” means any office, department, commission, council, board, committee, legislative body, agency, or other establishment of the executive, judicial, or legislative branch of the state, municipality, county, school district, institution of higher education, improvement district, or any political district or subdivision;

(2) “Offense” means conduct for which a sentence to a term of imprisonment or fine, or both, is authorized by statute;

(3) “Public servant” means a public official, public employee, or public appointee.

(4) “Public servant” does not mean a member of the General Assembly or a person holding an office of trust or profit in the state under Arkansas Constitution, Article 5, § 9;

(5) “Relating to” means an offense that directly involves a person's performance in the office, position, or employment held by a person in a governmental body; and

(6) “Public official” means a member of the General Assembly or person holding an office of trust or profit in the state under Arkansas Constitution, Article 5, § 9.
