Attorney General — Designated law enforcement agency
Acts 2009, No. 81, § 1.
(1) The office of the Attorney General is designated as a law enforcement agency.
(2) A person designated and employed as a special investigator by the Attorney General shall: Be a certified law enforcement officer under § 12-9-101 et seq.; and
(3) Have statewide law enforcement jurisdiction and authority.
