Penalty

Known as the Motor Vehicle Administration, Certificate of Title, and Antitheft Act

(1) It shall be unlawful for any person to display a placard except as provided in this subchapter.

(2) A person who violates any of the provisions of this subchapter or any of the rules promulgated in this subchapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined: Five hundred dollars ($500) for the first offense;

(3) One thousand dollars ($1,000) for the second offense; and

(4) One thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) for the third and each subsequent offense.
