Existing special license plates

Known as the Special License Plate Act

The act spans §§ 27–27 (148 sections).

(1) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration shall continue the collegiate special license plates that existed before April 13, 2005.

(2) The board of trustees of a college or university may request that the Department of Finance and Administration discontinue the college's or university's special license plate.

(3) To request a discontinuance of a special license plate issued under this subchapter, the board of trustees of the college or university shall present a resolution to the secretary requesting the department to discontinue the college's or university's special license plate.
