Application for cities and incorporated towns

Known as the Special License Plate Act

The act spans §§ 27–27 (148 sections).

Acts 2005, No. 2202, § 1.

(1) A mayor of a city or incorporated town in the state may apply for special license plates under this subchapter.

(2) An application submitted under this section shall include the following: The payment of a sum of one dollar ($1.00) for each motor vehicle to be licensed; and

(3) An affidavit by the following that states that the motor vehicle to which the special license plate shall be attached is the property of the city or incorporated town and used exclusively for the business of the city or incorporated town: The mayor; and

(4) The city clerk.
