Ark. Code Ann. § 4-118-102

Definitions

Known as the Prepaid Mobile Device Protection Act

The act spans §§ 4–4 (4 sections).

As used in this chapter:

(1) “Minor” means an individual under eighteen (18) years of age;

(2) “Person” means an individual who is not related to a minor.

(3) “Person” does not mean a parent or grandparent, including without limitation a biological parent, adoptive parent, stepparent, fictive kin, legal guardian, temporary guardian, or other legal custodian of a minor;

(4) “Prepaid mobile device” means a cellular telephone or other communication device for which the mobile device user purchases a set allotment of wireless communication services; and

(5) “Wireless communication services” means any mobile service that is provided for profit and makes interconnected service available to the public.
