Notice

Known as the Water Authority Act

The act spans §§ 4–4 (27 sections).

Acts 2003, No. 1330, § 3.

(1) Notice may be communicated: In person;

(2) By telegraph, teletype, telecopier, facsimile, or other similar form of wire or wireless communication; or

(3) By mail or private carrier.

(4) Written notice, if in a comprehensible form, is effective at the earliest of the following: When received;

(5) Two (2) days after its deposit in the United States mail, as evidenced by the postmark, if mailed correctly addressed and with first class postage affixed; or

(6) On the date shown on the return receipt if sent by registered or certificated mail, return receipt requested, and the receipt is signed by or on behalf of the addressee.
