Ark. Code Ann. § 4-36-304

Benefit officer

Known as the Arkansas Benefit Corporation Act

The act spans §§ 4–4 (13 sections).

Acts 2013, No. 1388, § 1.

(1) A benefit corporation may have an officer designated as the benefit officer.

(2) A benefit officer shall have: The powers and duties relating to the purpose of the corporation to pursue a general public benefit or a specific public benefit provided: By the bylaws; or

(3) Absent controlling provisions in the bylaws, by resolutions or orders of the board of directors; and

(4) The duty to prepare the benefit report required by § 4-36-401.
