Unlawfully using a slug

Acts 1975, No. 280, § 2309; A.S.A. 1947, § 41-2309; Acts 2005, No. 1994, § 464.

(1) A person commits the offense of unlawfully using a slug if: With purpose to defraud, the person obtains property or a service sold or offered by means of a coin machine by inserting, depositing, or using a slug in that machine; or

(2) The person makes, possesses, or disposes of a slug with purpose to enable a person to use the slug fraudulently in a coin machine.

(3) Unlawfully using a slug is a: Class C felony if the value of the property or slug exceeds five hundred dollars ($500); or

(4) Class A misdemeanor if otherwise committed.
