Ark. Code Ann. § 5-52-104

Soliciting unlawful compensation

Acts 1975, No. 280, § 2704; A.S.A. 1947, § 41-2704.

(1) A person commits the offense of soliciting unlawful compensation if he or she requests a benefit for the performance of an official action as a public servant knowing that he or she is required to perform that action: Without compensation, other than authorized salary or allowances; or

(2) At a level of compensation lower than that requested.

(3) Soliciting unlawful compensation is a Class A misdemeanor.
