Ark. Code Ann. § 5-60-123

Obstruction or interference with emergency medical personnel or first responder

(1) As used in this section: “Emergency medical services personnel” includes without limitation a governmental, private, or volunteer: Emergency medical services personnel;

(2) Rescue technician; or

(3) Emergency medical care provider; and

(4) “First responder” means a firefighter or a law enforcement officer.

(5) A person who knowingly obstructs or interferes with emergency medical services personnel or a first responder in the performance of the emergency medical services personnel's or first responder's rescue mission upon conviction is guilty of: A Class A misdemeanor if the person uses or threatens to use physical force; or

(6) A Class C misdemeanor if otherwise committed.

(7) A person who purposely obstructs or interferes with emergency medical services personnel or a first responder in the performance of the emergency medical services personnel's or first responder's rescue mission upon conviction is guilty of a Class D felony.
