Immunity — Veterinarians

Acts 2009, No. 33, § 3.

(1) A licensed veterinarian or a person acting at the direction of a licensed veterinarian in Arkansas is: Held harmless from either criminal or civil liability for any decision made or service rendered in conjunction with this subchapter; and

(2) Immune from suit for his or her part in an investigation of cruelty to animals.

(3) A veterinarian or person acting at the direction of a licensed veterinarian who participates or reports in bad faith or with malice is not protected under this subchapter.
