Solicitation on or near a highway

Acts 1993, No. 980, § 1.

(1) It is unlawful for any person to solicit a donation or offer to sell any item or service: On a state highway;

(2) Within ten feet (10') of a state highway, if there is not a sidewalk along the highway; or

(3) Between the highway and a sidewalk, if there is a sidewalk within ten feet (10') of the highway.

(4) A violation of this section is a Class C misdemeanor.
