Defacing a firearm

Acts 1975, No. 280, § 3106; A.S.A. 1947, § 41-3106.

(1) A person commits the offense of defacing a firearm if he or she knowingly removes, defaces, mars, covers, alters, or destroys the manufacturer's serial number or identification mark of a firearm.

(2) Defacing a firearm is a Class D felony.
