Definitions

As used in this subchapter:

(1) “Crime of violence” means any of the following crimes or an attempt to commit any of them: Murder;

(2) Manslaughter;

(3) Kidnapping;

(4) Rape;

(5) Mayhem;

(6) Assault to do great bodily harm;

(7) Robbery;

(8) Burglary;

(9) Housebreaking;

(10) Breaking and entering; and

(11) Larceny;

(12) “Machine gun” means a weapon of any description by whatever name known, loaded or unloaded, from which more than five (5) shots or bullets may be rapidly, or automatically, or semi-automatically, discharged from a magazine, by a single function of the firing device; and

(13) “Person” includes a firm, partnership, association, or corporation.
