Tuition waiver for Arkansas National Guard soldiers and airmen — Tuition assistance for soldiers

(1) Colleges, universities, community colleges, technical schools, and other postsecondary institutions of higher education located in the State of Arkansas that directly receive funds appropriated by the General Assembly may waive up to one hundred percent (100%) of the tuition at the institution for soldiers and airmen of the Arkansas National Guard.

(2) The Adjutant General of Arkansas shall establish and publish rules for the eligibility and implementation of tuition assistance programs sponsored by the armed services.

(3) The Adjutant General's rules shall conform to the Arkansas Administrative Procedure Act, § 25-15-201 et seq.

(4) The Adjutant General shall provide each postsecondary institution of higher education located in the State of Arkansas a copy of the rules within thirty (30) days after publication.
