Cal. Civ. Code § 1679

Default on Real Property Purchase Contract

Added by Stats. 1977, Ch. 198.

This chapter applies only to a provision for liquidated damages to the seller if the buyer fails to complete the purchase of real property. The validity of any other provision for liquidated damages in a contract to purchase and sell real property shall be determined under Section 1671.
