Cal. Civ. Code § 56.22

Use and Disclosure of Medical Information by Employers

Known as the Confidentiality of Medical Information Act

The act spans §§ 56–56 (41 sections).

Repealed and added by Stats. 1981, Ch. 782, Sec. 2.

Upon demand by the patient or the person who signed an authorization, an employer possessing the authorization shall furnish a true copy thereof.
