Retail Packages

Known as the Milk and Milk Products Act

The act spans §§ 32501–39912 (683 sections).

Enacted by Stats. 1967, Ch. 15.

Butter which is sold to the retail trade shall be labeled with the name and address of the manufacturer, the wholesale distributor, or the retailer. The following words shall appear above the name:

(a) The words “manufactured by” if the name of the manufacturer is given.

(b) The words “distributed by,” if the name of the wholesale distributor is given.

(c) The words “put up for” or “put up by,” as the case may be, if the name of the retailer is given.
