Short Title and Definitions

Known as the The California Marketing Act

The act spans §§ 58601–59293 (223 sections).

Enacted by Stats. 1967, Ch. 15.

“Person” means an individual, firm, corporation, association, or any other business unit, and, for the purposes of this chapter, includes any state agency which engages in any of the commercial activities which are regulated pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.
