Cal. Gov. Code § 10293

Uniform Electronic Legal Material Act

Known as the Uniform Electronic Legal Material Act

The act spans §§ 10290–10300 (11 sections).

Added by Stats. 2012, Ch. 310, Sec. 1

(a) If an official publisher publishes legal material only in an electronic record, the publisher shall do all of the following:

(1) Designate the electronic record as official.

(2) Comply with Sections 10294, 10296, and 10297.

(b) An official publisher that publishes legal material in an electronic record and also publishes the material in a record other than an electronic record may designate the electronic record as official if the publisher complies with Sections 10294, 10296, and 10297.
