Los Angeles County Tourism Marketing

Known as the California Tourism Marketing Act

The county commission shall separately contract with the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau to serve as its administrative contractor in the promotion, implementation, and administration of the Los Angeles County Marketing Plan adopted by the county commission. If the county commission believes that the administration of the county marketing plan will be promoted thereby, the commission may borrow money, with or without interest, to carry out the provisions of the county marketing plan, and may hypothecate anticipated assessment collections.
