Cal. Gov. Code § 18800

Classification

Known as the State Civil Service Act

The act spans §§ 18500–19799 (366 sections).

Added by Stats. 1945, Ch. 123.

The board shall create and adjust classes of positions in the State civil service. The classes adopted by the board, shall be known as the Personnel Classification Plan of the State of California. The classification plan shall include a descriptive title and a definition outlining the scope of the duties and responsibilities for each class of positions.
