Probationary Period

Known as the State Civil Service Act

The act spans §§ 18500–19799 (366 sections).

Added by Stats. 1957, Ch. 516.

The board, upon the written request of a probationer who has been rejected for medical reasons only, may restore the name of the rejected probationer to the employment list from which his name originally was certified if the list is still in existence and the board determines after medical examination that he meets the required medical standards.
