Cal. Gov. Code § 23364

Election on Creation of the Proposed County

Added by Stats. 1974, Ch. 1392.

If necessary for the purposes of the election, the board of each affected county shall change the boundaries of the election precincts in its county to make them conform to the boundaries of the proposed county. The boundary lines of any precinct shall not extend beyond the boundary lines of the existing county in which it is located.
