Cal. Gov. Code § 31912

General

Known as the County Peace Officers’ Retirement Law

The act spans §§ 31900–32063 (82 sections).

Added by Stats. 1947, Ch. 424.

The title to all property acquired pursuant to this chapter shall be taken in the name of the county. The title to any money which becomes due to any peace officer shall not pass from the county to the peace officer until he is entitled thereto under this chapter.
