Cal. Gov. Code § 50883

Pensions and Death Benefits

Added by Stats. 1949, Ch. 81.

Upon the occurrence of any of the following events, the payment of a pension or benefit to the recipient shall cease.

The recipient is:

(a) Convicted of a felony.

(b) Becomes a habitual drunkard.

(c) Becomes a nonresident of this State.

(d) Fails to report for examination for duty unless excused by the board.

(e) Disobeys the requirements of the board as to the examination or duty.
