Cal. Gov. Code § 52101

Powers and Duties

Known as the Community Energy Authority Act

The act spans §§ 52000–52190 (40 sections).

Added by Stats. 1984, Ch. 1550, Sec. 1.

An authority may, subject to the approval of the governing body, do all of the following:

(a) Sue and be sued.

(b) Have a seal and alter it.

(c) Have a perpetual succession.

(d) Make and execute contracts and other instruments necessary or convenient to the exercise of its powers.
