Cal. Gov. Code § 68926.2

Fees in the Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal

Added by Stats. 2025, Ch. 9, Sec. 15

(a) Notwithstanding any other law, sixty-five dollars ($65) of each fee collected in a civil case by the clerk of each court of appeal pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 68926 shall be paid into the State Treasury for deposit in a special account in the General Fund to be known as the California State Law Library Special Account, which is hereby established.

(b) Moneys deposited in the California State Law Library Special Account shall be available for the support of the California State Law Library upon appropriation by the Legislature in the annual Budget Act.

(c) It is the intent of the Legislature that this section shall apply retroactively to January 1, 2025.

(d) This section shall become inoperative on July 1, 2030, and, as of January 1, 2031, is repealed.
