Penalties and Remedies

Known as the California Right to Financial Privacy Act

The act spans §§ 7460–7493 (19 sections).

Added by Stats. 1976, Ch. 1320.

In any successful action to enforce liability for a violation of the provisions of this chapter, the customer may recover the cost of the action together with reasonable attorney’s fees as determined by the court.
