Proceedings to Determine Constitutionality of Claims Against the State

Known as the Government Claims Act

Promptly following the effective date of an omnibus claim appropriation, the board or its secretary shall submit to the Controller a claim covering the full amount of the appropriation made in the omnibus claim appropriation. Any such claim is exempt from the provisions of Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 925) of this part, and the board shall have those powers necessary to administer and disburse the omnibus claim appropriation.
