Cal. Health & Safety Code § 108165

General Provisions and Definitions

Known as the California Hazardous Substances Act

The act spans §§ 108100–108515 (69 sections).

Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 6

“Corrosive” means any substance which in contact with living tissue will cause destruction of tissue by chemical action; but shall not refer to action on inanimate surfaces.
