Cal. Health & Safety Code § 108170

General Provisions and Definitions

Known as the California Hazardous Substances Act

The act spans §§ 108100–108515 (69 sections).

Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 6

“Irritant” means any substance not corrosive within the meaning of Section 108165 that on immediate, prolonged, or repeated contact with normal living tissue will induce a local inflammatory reaction.
