California Children’s Services

Known as the Robert W. Crown California Children’s Services Act

The department and designated agencies shall not deny eligibility or aid under the California Children’s Services Program because an otherwise eligible person is receiving treatment services under a teaching program at an accredited medical school facility or accredited school or college of podiatric medicine, whether or not all or part of the treatment services are performed by the staff at the facility, school, or college, provided that treatment services at the facility, school, or college are under the general supervision of a California Children’s Services Program panel physician and surgeon, including a family physician, and podiatrist.
